Vattem Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam is situated on hilltop called “Venkanna Konda” which is 3 kms away from Vattem Village, Bijinepalli Mandal, Mahaboobnagar District, Telangana State, India. Construction of the temple started in December, 1983 and got completed in 3 years.

The idols of Lord Venkateswara Swamy, Goddesses Padmavathi and Goda were consecrated by His Holiness Sri Tridandi Sreemannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji in May 1986. It is the sankalpa of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Jeeyar Swamiji to shae this Kshetramu as “China Tirupati”. In this direction Sri Jeeyar Swamiji directed the temple authorities to construct ‘Pushkarini’ (koneru) and Sri Varaha Swami Temple. Accordingly Pushkarini and Sri Varahaswami temple have been constructed. Devasthanam (Temple) rituals are being performed as per “Pancha Rathra Agama Sashtras” with blessings from His Holiness Chinna Jeeyar Swami.

Annually important Ustavams are being performed i.e. Pavitrotsavam, Adhyayanotsavam, Goda Kalyanam and Brahmotsavams besides daily pujas. Today, Vattem Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam Complex comprises of Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Yagasala, Kalakshepa Manadapam, Kalyana Mandapam including Kitchen, Dining Hall and living quarters for Archakas with all amenities.

The total complex is unique and till today an amount of Rs 1.8 crores have been spent on this complex. There are four guest cottages are available for the stay of pilgrims. It is no wonder that this project started in small grew like a Peepal tree due to generous donations of thousands of Bhaktas (devotees) coming from across the state, country and especially NRI’s settled outside India.
